Changes at the Regional Secretariat for the Economy: termination of duties and cancellation of competition

The Regional Secretariat for the Economy has made changes to its internal structure, as published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM). The decisions, signed by the Chief of Staff, Maria Georgina Ferreira Barreira Jardim Nunes, reflect adjustments in human resources management and management positions:

• Termination of service commission: The termination of the one-year service commission of Maria Madalena Ramos de Freitas Araújo de Sousa Freitas, who held the intermediate management position of 1st degree as Director of the Legal Affairs Office of the Regional Secretary for the Economy, was formalized, effective May 29, 2026 (Notice no. 227/2026).
• Cancellation of competition: The closure of the recruitment procedure for the position of Director of the Human Resources Office of the Regional Secretary for the Economy was determined. This process, previously advertised by Notice no. 118/2026, of March 27, was cancelled by order of the Regional Secretary for the Economy, effective May 29, 2026 (Notice no. 228/2026).
