Regional Government supports four cultural and tourism animation projects
The Regional Government Council has authorized the signing of program contracts and cooperation protocols with four distinct entities, aiming to strengthen the cultural offer and tourism promotion of the archipelago. The support, totaling €58,000.00, is intended for the following entities:
- Nuno Henrique Gouveia dos Santos: Support of €13,000.00 for the production and realization of the 'SCALARIFORM' exhibition, under Resolution no. 236/2026.
- Associação da Banda Municipal de Santa Cruz: Support of €5,000.00 for the realization of a cycle of five philharmonic music concerts, in accordance with Resolution no. 237/2026.
- AARAM - Associação de Atletismo da Região Autónoma da Madeira: Support of €20,000.00 for the project 'Promotion of events at international fairs', under the terms of Resolution no. 238/2026.
- Associação Regional de Canoagem da Madeira: Support of €20,000.00 for the execution of the 'Madeira Ocean Challenge 2026' project, in accordance with Resolution no. 239/2026.
These initiatives, which will take place throughout 2026, aim at cultural decentralization, the valorization of heritage, and the strengthening of Madeira's image as an excellent destination for sports and leisure tourism.
