Regional Government grants financial support to two farmers associations
The Regional Government Council has approved, in plenary, the granting of financial support to two farmers associations, aiming to ensure their normal operation and the pursuit of their statutory activities during the year 2026.
- Associação dos Agricultores das Fajãs do Cabo Girão: Financial support up to the amount of €25,000.00, under Regional Government Council Resolution no. 492/2026.
- Associação de Agricultores Abelhinha - Produção e Transformação de Frutos das Costas de Baixo: Financial support up to the amount of €20,000.00, under Regional Government Council Resolution no. 493/2026.
These grants, which are essential for the preservation of family farming and the sustainability of regional products such as Madeira Cider, are effective until December 31, 2026.
