Ordinance no. 171/2026 has been published, formalizing the distribution of budgetary burdens necessary for the conclusion of a program contract between the Autonomous Region of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure, and SMD - Sociedade Metropolitana de Desenvolvimento, S. A.
The investment, which aims to execute the PIDDAR project no. 53056 - Rehabilitation of Largo da Republica, amounts to a maximum global total of 400,000.00 euros. The multi-annual financing plan is structured as follows:
The ordinance also establishes that the amount set for each financial year may be increased by the balance determined in the previous year. The project has budgetary coverage in the budget of the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure, with funds for 2027 and 2028 being registered in the respective future budgets. The mentioned values do not include VAT at the legal rate in force.
The Regional Government has authorized the amendment of the program contract with IHM for the expansion of the housing stock, with a total investment of 125.25 million euros.
IHM - Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira has extended the deadline for submitting proposals for land allocation in Imaculado Coracao de Maria.
The Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure has authorized the creation of a 300 euro petty cash fund for the Regional Civil Engineering Laboratory.
