SESARAM boosts rapid testing capacity with new reagent investment
Through Ordinance no. 211/2026, the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection authorized the amendment and redistribution of budgetary burdens for the acquisition of laboratory reagents for rapid tests. The contract includes the provision of equipment under a loan-for-use agreement at the SESARAM, EPERAM Clinical Pathology Service.
The investment, with a global base price of €277,463.37 (plus VAT at a rate of 23%), has a duration of one year, renewable up to a maximum limit of four years. The scheduling of budgetary burdens defined by the Regional Government is as follows:
- Financial Year 2026: €53,972.33
- Financial Year 2027: €92,487.79
- Financial Year 2028: €92,487.79
- Financial Year 2029: €38,515.46
