Regional Government grants support to five sports and cultural entities
The Regional Government Council has approved a set of resolutions aimed at supporting regional associations through program contracts. The beneficiary entities and their respective support are:
- Clube Desportivo “Os Especiais”: Support of up to €10,000.00 for inclusive sports activities and participation in international championships (Resolution no. 481/2026).
- Associação dos Amigos da Arte Inclusiva - Dançando com a Diferença: Support of up to €10,000.00 for maintaining inclusive dance classes and artistic projects (Resolution no. 482/2026).
- Madeira Outdoor - Associação para a Promoção de Atividades ao Ar Livre: Support of up to €4,408.33 for participation in regional championships for the 2025/2026 season (Resolution no. 483/2026).
- Clube Desportivo Garachico, PCUP: Support of up to €14,687.66 for participation in regional competitions and event organization for the 2025/2026 season (Resolution no. 484/2026).
- Clube Desportivo Bartolomeu Perestrelo: Support of up to €19,503.81 for participation in regional competitions and event organization for the 2025/2026 season (Resolution no. 485/2026).
These grants aim to ensure the functional sustainability of these associations and promote sports and artistic practice in the Region.
