Regional Government extends four collective labor agreements in Madeira
The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labor and Youth has published in the JORAM the extension of four collective agreements, ensuring that the agreed salary and labor conditions are applied to all workers and companies in the respective sectors, regardless of their union or employer affiliation.
Published extension instruments:
- Extension Ordinance No. 9/2026: Company agreement between Empresa de Cervejas da Madeira, Sociedade Unipessoal Lda. and FESAHT - Federation of Agriculture, Food, Beverage, Hospitality and Tourism Trade Unions of Portugal (Partial Revision).
- Extension Ordinance No. 10/2026: Collective agreement between the Confederation of Farmers of Portugal (CAP) and the National Union of Workers in Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing, Tourism, Food Industry, Beverages and Related Areas - SETAAB (Global Revision).
- Extension Ordinance No. 11/2026: Collective agreement between the National Association of Pharmacies - ANF and the National Union of Pharmacists (Salary and other changes).
- Extension Ordinance No. 12/2026: Collective agreement between the Portuguese Association of Facility Services - APFS and the Union of Workers in Concierge, Surveillance, Cleaning, Domestic and Miscellaneous Activities - STAD and others (Salary and other changes).
These measures, which come into force the day after publication, aim to bring competitive conditions between companies closer together and ensure a fair standardization of working conditions in the Region.
