Madeira pays tribute to musician Luis Jardim with concert at Santa Catarina Park
The Regional Government of Madeira has determined, through Resolution no. 179/2026, the realization of a musical show in tribute to the excellent career of musician Luis Jardim. The event will take place on May 1st, 2026, at Santa Catarina Park.
The organization of the show, which aims to honor one of the most prolific and respected studio musicians worldwide, was entrusted to the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labor and Youth. Luis Jardim, who passed away in 2025, left a vast legacy, having collaborated with internationally renowned artists such as the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Tina Turner and Coldplay, while always maintaining a deep connection to his homeland.
