The Regional Government Council has authorized the signing of program contracts with three musical associations in the Region, as part of the support program for philharmonic bands, tunas, folk groups, and traditional music ensembles. The financial support, which takes the form of a non-repayable grant, aims to compensate for the Value Added Tax (VAT) incurred by these entities during 2025 on goods and services essential to their activities.
These funds are intended to cover expenses related to the acquisition, maintenance, and repair of musical instruments, uniforms, repertoire, and other consumables necessary for the operation of these organizations.
The Regional Government of Madeira has approved cooperation protocols with five local entities, representing a total investment of 28,000 euros.
Two cultural associations receive support from the Regional Government for the production of shows and intangible heritage preservation projects.
The Madeira Football Association will receive financial support of up to 90,000.00 euros for the organization of the 2026 Autonomy Tournament.
