Through Order no. 202/2026, the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labor and Youth has recognized Teatro Metaphora - Association of Friends of the Arts as a youth association.
The decision was based on the analysis of the association's activity between 2022 and 2024, a period in which more than 50% of its activity was directed at young people aged 30 or under. The association, based in Câmara de Lobos, stood out for the implementation of programs such as Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, involving thousands of young people in cultural and volunteering projects. The recognition is valid for the biennial period of 2026-2027.
The Regional Government of Madeira has approved cooperation protocols with five local entities, representing a total investment of 28,000 euros.
